SU Secretary ProfileMain responsibilities:

 Inform executive committee across campuses of meetings at least 1 week in advance by email.

 

Draw up and circulate the agenda before each meeting.

 

Take the minutes of the executive meetings and any other meetings ensuring they are accurate.

 

Distribute copes of minutes to all student union staff immediately after. Keep a copy in the minutes folder.

 

Ensure minutes are uploaded onto SU website.

 

Update any files such as the executive team personnel files and timesheets.

 

Make sure stationery levels are adequate.

 

Ensure that all documents and correspondence is safe, ensuring confidentiality at all times.

 

Commit to two office hours a week.

 

Attend relevant conferences and courses on behalf of the Student Union within your remit.

 

Prepare your PTS&R with either the SLO/SU President to ensure that you can plan the year ahead and establish projects relating to your remit.
