Class Representative Schedule 2007/2008

 

As part of the new staged Induction timetable, learners will be informed of the Class Rep role by the Learner Development Workers, Curriculum & Quality Leaders or Lecturers in week 3.

 

 In order for us to get the Class Representatives trained early we will need all class reps voted into their role by the last week in September.

 

 Could all Class Representative details be submitted to the Student Liaison Officer by Friday 28th September.


 Class Representative Training has been organised for the following dates:

 

 Falkirk Campus 15th October

 Room to be confirmed
9.30-12.00pm: Access and Progression, Applied Science and Computing, Business and Care, Social Sciences & Early Education
1.30-4.00pm: Construction, Creative Industries, Engineering and Leisure Industries

 

 Stirling Campus 17th October

 Room to be allocated
9.30-12.00pm

 

 Clackmannan Campus 17th October

 Room to be allocated
1.30-4.00pm

 

 Falkirk Campus 12th November

This is the final training opportunity for all Class Reps who missed the October sessions.
 9.30-12.00pm
2.00-4.00pm

Training will be provided by Student Participation in Quality Scotland (SPARQS). Class reps will also have additional training this year in minute taking.
 

Exciting Incentives

 

  • All Class reps who attend the training sessions this year will be automatically entered into a free draw on the day to win an Ipod Nano. 
  • All Class Reps this year will receive a USB Flash Drive. They will also be given Student Union promotional materials. These will be handed out at the training sessions.
  • Class Reps will have their own dedicated web pages on the new Student Union website.
