This section has a range of information and support for learners who have additional support needs.
 
Examples of Additional Support Needs
 
The range of additional support needs is wide and varied, however the most common support that we provide includes;
 
  • Reading, writing and number work
  • Study skills/IT skills
  • Support for Dyslexia/Dyspraxia/ADHD/Aspergers/Autism
  • Support for Mental Health
  • Physical disability (this can range from special seating for people with arthritis to transport to and from the college)
  • D / deaf, hard-of-hearing or blind/partially sighted
  • Health problem where we can make it easier for you to study
  • Any other support you might need to assist your learning
